Happy Halloween From Blue Water Nursery:)

Gardening Tips
It's Greenhouse time, the weather is getting cooler and it is almost time to move your plants inside. What better place then to your greenhouse. Not only do I bring my potted plants in, I also plant a winter garden. It gives us fresh vegetables and fruit all winter long. You can grow everything in containers, even watermelons if you give them support. Don't get caught off guard and lose your plants that you cared for all spring and summer.

Gardening Tips
I have always heard to put rocks in the bottom of your container for drainage but what if your pot is already heavy? I have a solution, when you buy a plant in a 4 inch plastic pot, save them. When you are ready to use heavy pottery, use the 4 inch containers in the bottom of pot as you would rocks. They put the air pockets for your drainage, they are much lighter than rocks, you are recycling and you use less soil. Problem solved:) Y'all are welcome:)

Gardening Tips
If your house plants are looking a little tired, fertilize and add new soil. Most of the time it will spark another set of blooms.
